"I did," I replied. Before I could finish, he abruptly pulled on my hair, causing me to wince.

"You clumsy little thing," he grumbled, still gripping my hair tightly, a glare on his face.

I slapped away his hands, wincing in pain, and shot him a glare of my own.

"Are you trying to pull my hair out by the roots?" I asked, feeling offended, but he just laughed.

"I'm not a thing. He pulled me in when I peeked into his room," I complained.

"You wouldn't have peeked into his room if you had been taught manners," he retorted.

"Why wouldn't I? I haven't seen a television in a long time, and I finally had the chance to hear the sound. Besides, he left the door open for me," I explained.

"I think that guy decided to get himself a television and was tired of being Hunter's son. Anyway, he broke a rule, and now he's dead. It makes me wonder how ignorant you are. Were you so captivated by whatever you were watching that you didn't see him lock the door?"
