You're starting to disappoint me

Charlotte's POV

I lifted my gaze and briefly stared at her, but she was concentrated on what she was doing.

If she knew what respect was, she wouldn't have intentionally dropped Alex's son's food.

"Sure," I replied and stood up from the floor.

"No worries. I'm in a hurry to leave, so I can't prepare something he could eat again. I guess you'll have to do it yourself," she said and thrust the tray into my hand.

She flipped her hair and smiled slyly at me before she turned and walked away from me, swaying her hips.

I watched her retreating figure, and when she was out of sight, a scoff escaped my lips.

"If only she knew I wasn't interested in being a Luna," I murmured under my breath, not pleased by what just happened, but I didn't let it show.

"Ryan, have you finished?" I asked as I approached the table, and he nodded.

"That's correct. Now you'll have a very good grade," I said after going through his work. He had an excellent, but it wasn't bold enough. I guess the teacher would make
