HIRED. RIDDLES

"Alright, Grace. Don't hesitate to call me if anything comes up." I say to Grace as I grab my phone from my desk.

"Okay. I'll be waiting for the gossip behind this sparkle that is blotted on your face, dear bestie." She retorts.

How can I not be glowing? How can I shade this fervor of love emanating from the inside? I'm in love, and I'm loved back. That comes off like too much vigorous bang for me to cloak. I feel like I'm walking in an alley of shining stars.

"Whatever. See ya." I wiggle my jolly-burning self and catwalk out of her vision before she goes raucous with interrogations.

I evacuate the compact coffee shop and trudge outside to the black Lamborghini awaiting me and get in.

"We can go now." I nervously giggle after putting on my safety belt and settling on the seat. My face has assumed a different colour since his declaration. I'm glowing red all over my face. The sound of love has never boomed with so much power and euphoria.
