Chapter Forty Two

The sound of music was loud, nearly hurting Grace's ears in the corner of the room. Several times she drank wine without caring about her surroundings. The women and men were busy dancing, women in dresses dragging the floor and men in ties with seductive looks. They had fun with glasses filled with wine. The hotel room is full of humans, looks crowded in the eyes of women who only snort their happy atmosphere.

Her mother's marriage ended with humans having fun, no burdened faces with piles of problems among the hundreds of invited guests. Only herself was pitiful, not a shred of happiness filling that pretty, youthful face. Her life has been dead since she was born into the world.

A bottle of wine was empty, she opened the bottle which was still sealed. But stopped by a strong hand from the side. Mr.Charmond with a glare full of threats.

"You want to get drunk in a place like this?" He said regretting Grace's attitude that did not respect marriage.
