Chapter Thirty

January next year, I no longer hear how the loud voice that sometimes softens calls my name with new hope, Mother._Mr.Charmond

The turn of the year was still in a matter of months, but death was drawn faster than the charms of firecrackers in the sky. Don't think anyone wants to get old and then die. They want to continue living with one, four, eight or ten children. But one death news will still come in a dark state like blind.

Someone tapped Mr.Charmond's shoulder lightly, as he turned away. Grace's face, dressed in black and a shawl of the same color and covering her head, sat with the grieving man. Mr.Charmond's face looked very puffy with dark circles around his eyes.

"I beg you, don't cry." Grace said softly. "Everything will meet death. You told me that, Mr.Charmond. Let your mother meet her eternal life, we don't know how long she misses her husband, your father."
