Mr.Charmond received a warm welcome when he returned to the palace, before his eyes closed and he had a dream. There was a warm conversation with Grace on the bed. Occasionally Grace's laugh sounded sweet when Mr.Charmond made jokes with his young story with Mrs.Launtin, they imagined married life was the start of a more enjoyable life. Of them have the freedom to determine the contents of the house and head, but they do not.

When Mrs.Launtin found the intended love, there was actually no marriage in the relationship.

"But you were married before, I am your second wife." Grace said, her hand reaching for the neck of the man next door.
