CHAPTER 13

“Home sweet home... Home sweet home...” Jacob entered the house singing, dragging his suitcase after two hours of travel.

“What are you singing?” Nick asked, standing next to him.

"I have no idea, it's the only thing I know.” Jacob replied, leaving his suitcase in the living room "There’s an Argentine girl in my class and she always sings it.”

“The rhythm is very interesting, you know? I have a band and...”

I ignored the rest of that conversation to take a closer look at the magnitude of Nick's parents' beach house.

 And by house I meant mansion.

The balcony that Nick had talked about? It actually was a terrace of about twenty meters or so, and it stood in front of my friend's humble house, which had eight rooms, each with their own bathroom.

Shit, I had a rich friend.

"A little intimidating, right?” She asked impressed.

"Intimidating stays short.&
