The Fight.

"I heard you don't have a wolf?"

It was sometime around seven in the morning. Kate had sent Delilah to the kitchen to make her a cup of coffee.

Adam had made sure she tended to Kate as per the Alpha's order for her to become Kate's servant.

Delilah didn't want to waste time arguing or resisting. Adam made it clear what would happen if she resisted him or started arguments.

Delilah knew Adam was one of those dangerous wolves and she wasn't about to get on his bad side yet.

She wanted to study the pack know her friends and her foes but it wasn't as easy as she thought it was going to be.

Someone had told half the pack members that she didn't have a wolf and it was preventing her from making any real freinship.

That morning the Alpha had been on her mind. Last night at the dungeon wasn't going to get out of her head in a hurry.

It was living there rent free.

His smell, the proximity of him to her and the way her body responded when he had whispered in her ear.
