Come back to work

Whenever I see him, I remember his betrayal, it was more of a betrayal than a break-up.

“Wow, since you're his girlfriend, I will give you a discount. Pick any design you like” the lady said.

"No, thanks,” I said as I kept back the album and left.

Before I could get to the door, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.

“Ouch,” I gasped as I almost fell on him.

“What do you think you're doing?

“We might have broken up yes, but there is no need for you to act so indifferent toward me”

“We are not close and never will be," I said and pushed his hands off.

“And stop telling people I was your Ex. We never dated” I said before walking out without looking back.

Michael stood quietly looking at me with a hint of regret on his face.

“Why did you both break up?” the lady asked.

Michael suddenly turned around and gave her a mean look. That look meant she should return to work and mind her business.
