WHY, CINDY?

Jack felt torn. He didn't want to disregard Maya's good intentions but he didn't want to disappoint Cindy also. Maya observed the look on his face and said, "sorry Jack, since you already employed me as your errand girl, I felt that I would be in charge of getting your meals.

But I made enough to go around. We can all eat together. Jack looked and Cindy and asked, "can we all eat this today and have seafood tomorrow?"

Cindy felt upset. If Maya had really been just a friend who wasn't romantically interested in Jack, she would have overlooked things like this but knowing Maya's intentions, there was no way she was going to give room for her.

Rather than answering Jack's question, Cindy asked, "Since when did Maya become employed as your errand girl?"

Jack said, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before, it completely slipped my mind. Maya had asked to also become my secretary so she could keep herself busy and forget her problems but it wasn't possible because you already work as my secreta
