Rhoda had met the door slightly opened when she got to Jeff's house. She knew he must have been so worried about her disappearance and would have been looking for her. Rhoda stirred awake and found herself in a hospital ward. There was no one else in the ward and it was well furnished. It was obviously not an ordinary hospital ward. She sat up looking all confused.
