Even though I wanted to put a knife through his eye, I couldn’t do that for the sake of the mission I was here to accomplish. The butcher was a man in his early fifties, with a stocky build, a double chin and a pot belly bigger than a pregnant woman who was due for birth. He was also almost completely bald, and his once blonde hair had become nearly white. With his blue eyes, he might have been considered handsome in his youth because he was a stereotypical blonde that women seemed to be obsessed with for some reason, but the more power he acquired, the more influence he got from his business, the more lazy he got physically. He had lots of guards and he was confident of his usefulness to some of the worst people to ever exist so he didn’t feel a need to keep fit. He was also too proud to exercise any form of caution. The only reason he was still alive was because he was protected by his connections.
