"Shush," Alex hushed, placing his index finger over his lips. The cave had opened into the woods on the other side, just above the tunnel that we used. The war hadn't concluded. The intensity of it made the ceiling of the cave shake violently. After walking for a while, we discovered the exit, covered in thick bushes. Alex began to move them to the side rapidly.
