Amanda’s POV

“You can’t tell her that,” I whisper as he pulls my hands close to his chest and draws me in. “Don’t mention the needing to think of someone else. Just say it wasn’t perfect and you want perfection.”

“Good idea,” Colton whispers back. We are very close together now.

“Last question and it’s an important one. Why didn’t you respect the mate bond?” I ask barely able to speak.

“Plain and simple I was selfish. I only wanted what I wanted and I didn’t think about the consequences. Now those consequences are here and I’m just praying she will help me through them.
