54-Searching for a Traitor

Amanda’s POV

“If he wants Mia dead you would be next,” I tell Apollo who is getting ready to join the search.

“He doesn’t know me,” Apollo tries to lie, but he is the worst liar.

“Your face is everywhere,” I tell him.

“Love, I have to help,” Apollo tells me. “I’m the first born, the best tracker and it’s my job.”

“You are an Alpha of the Royal pack,” I yell back.

“There are three of us, I can be spared,” he yells at me.

“But I love you most,” I yell out then cover my mouth. I never intended to ever say that out loud. It’s true I have always been in love with Apollo and I do in fact love him the most.

“Baby,” Apollo softens quickly pulling me to him. “Never say that out loud again.”

“I can’t believe I said this time,” I mumble into his chest.

“Baby,” Apollo lifts my chin and I see him smiling. “Did you mean it?”
