It has been over an hour since I have been in here, and no one has seemed to come forward. Silence enveloped the entire building, and his scent became more and more intense. My fear transformed into curiosity all of a sudden, and I felt the need to step out. I was beginning to question my sanity.

Why would Avalor trick me with his scents and not show up? Could it be that he wants me to freak out and die? He should come forward then and kill me.

I grabbed the stick I found in the room and stepped out, limping around the walkway and peeking through all the rooms.

Oh, moon goddess!" I shrieked aloud the moment I found someone lying on the ground in one of the rooms. I peeked through the iron bars to see clearly, but I couldn’t as the fellow lay facing the wall.

I could see bruises and blood stains all over the person’s body, and I felt really sorry for the person. I began to push the bars to see if the person could turn around, but it was futile.
