"Don’t you dare lay a finger on my sister, or both of us are going down." I heard Nancy speak to someone over the phone while I peeked through the spyhole on my door.

That was all I could hear. I knew she was on a long call all along, but it got my attention the moment I heard her shrieking, and I slouched to my door. What does she mean,both of us will go down? Is she involved in some kind of illegal business? Well, not as if it were my business.

I laid down on the bed with my back. As a pregnant mom, lying on your back becomes routine. I loved to sleep facing downwards, but since I got pregnant, either I lay with my back or sideways. I glanced at the ceiling, counting the number of weeks remaining to deliver my pups and get the hell out of this palace. I can’t wait to go far away, where I can no longer see his annoying face, and he will never find out that he is the father of the pups that I am carrying. Let him enjoy his only apparent heir to his throne and his wife, Nancy.
