Author's POV.

Eva was shocked as well, she fixed her head back into the car and faced Alpha Trent, who looked calm in such turmoil.

“Why are you so relaxed?” Eva questioned, staring curiously at her mate. “Trent”

The side of his lips curved into a smirk, he said. “They are here to protect us, and there isn't a need to worry about our security. They are in their wolf form because it's more scary and intimidating”.

“Scary and intimidating?” Eva, gasped and smacked his arm. “What are you turning into these days? You ordered such and never bothered to tell me”.

“I am your Luna and I deserve to have knowledge of these sorts of things; what if you scared our driver, and he sways and crashes into something out of the fear of being attacked” Eva queried and scolded him like a child.

Alpha Trent simply stared at her, blinking repeatedly. The way she talked to him made him feel immature, and he had to acknowledge that fact a little.
