It had been a long while since I attempted getting Eva back. I had not given up yet but I wasn't too hopeful either.

All my plans had backfired and left me empty, all my chances of getting that woman back had been rendered futile since the first day I tried to get her back at the border.

I was at the verge of losing my life and maybe Alpha Trent was so compassionate that he only warned and released me but I really deemed him a fool because I would never succumb to defeat. I simply had to lay low for a while to spare my life and my people.
