Thirty Four

Three weeks have passed since the wild sex-ling, and I still haven't found myself. It feels like my body systems belong to someone else. Thanks to Nikki and Linda, who always assist me with the majority of things—down to helping me feed myself and get out of bed—I lost my appetite, generally feel weak, and can hardly manage my own activities. Nikki never ceases making fun of the fact that I took on more than I was capable of.

Even though the alarm went off hours ago, I'm still in bed, shivering one minute and running a fever the next. When I was meant to have my daily flexibility workout or bath, I was unable to.

The three alphas appear concerned, whether because they actually care or because they are unable to enter my body as a result of the disease, but in any event, this illness is oddly what I needed because I have run out of ideas for getting rid of them. Toast to more time!
