Ava thanked the heavens that she dressed casually that day because she would not have known what she would have done if she had needed to change and Ethan had offered to drive her back to her house so she could be able to change because she didn’t want him knowing where she lived at all.

She needed to keep that and her children a secret for now until she was done with her investigation and finally knew if he was the father of her children.

They had left the office together almost immediately after she had said yes to him. He had just gone into his office to get the document he came for and she had used that opportunity to tidy up her own space quickly.

As usual, the got stares as they walked out together but something Ava did not dare miss was that they stare were not a heavy as it was when she was walking in or out of the office alone.
