Ava's thoughts were all over the place the day after the birthday party. Ethan had dropped off at the supermarket because she had lied that she needed to get some stuff just so he won’t be able to drive her home and he had insisted on waiting and those few minutes she was trying to figure out how to escape but a call from Christopher, who was calling him to come help out with something back at the house saved her and she couldn’t have been more happy to bid him farewell and then she had actually bought a few things so as not to garner unnecessary stares from the owners of the store before she left and took a cab back home.
