"I understand you're annoyed, and I apologize." Before sniffing my nostrils, I added.

I brushed away my tears and then looked deeply into Arthur's eyes.

"You don't have to apologize, pumpkin. I'm the one who should be sorry here, not you." He mumbled, but it appears that his sentence awoke something within me, for I rapidly backed away from Arthur.

"You still haven't forgiven me." I said that while sounding like I'm asking a question, but I'm actually stating a fact.

It was almost as if I could see through Arthur, and from what I could tell, Arthur hadn't forgiven me yet.

After my statement, I quickened my feet and started to run as quickly as my little legs could take me.

Arthur was perplexed.

"I've let it go, Cornelia. I have already forgiven you, and I hope you will do the same." Arthur yelled as he raced to catch up to me, but then he realized that karma was locked inside the car, and if something horrible happened to karma, I would be outraged.
