“We have the Elders’ council meeting today.” Kiara opened the windows of my room and pulled the curtains to the side, letting the sun shine into the room, right into my eyes.

“Well, they can have the meeting on their own because I don't care” I let those words slip through my mouth as I turned to the other side, where it's not as bright.

“Moreover, how dare you open my windows?” I stirred up and she went on her knees to apologize to me.

I hissed and waved her off. She already ruined my sleep and I won't be able to sleep back. All of these could have been avoided if I had killed her before but she's useful. She knows the entire pack like the back of her hand.
