How was this happening? How did it happen? A part of me didn’t want to believe what happened but at the same time, it didn’t seem like a joke.

I didn’t want to believe it, no it wasn’t true but the emotions in his eyes told me otherwise: he looked so serious and he was gripped by fear and guilt. It can’t be, it just can’t be.

I paced around not knowing what exactly to do about this information. It gripped me that this was reality and I wasn’t fat dreaming.

I walked from one place to another just to calm my nerves but it didn’t seem to change anything. My heart kept on pacing and pounding as I feared what the aftermath might be.

Cold sweat dropped off my forehead and I didn’t even bother wiping it off. Tears gathered up at the corner of my eyes and I didn’t bother wiping them off. It was okay to cry.
