Chapter 29 Fleeting Emotion.

~Two Days Later~

Giselle was siting down in the garden. Her eyes were fixed on a multicolored butterfly perched on one of the lilac flowers, while she held a simple first aid kit in her hand.

The beautiful scenery was calming and she felt fulfilled, at the same time, empty.

After that day, news traveled fast. Ethan got arrested, same with Raquel. Giselle’s father got transferred into a different hospital, where he was now receiving better treatment. The misconduct of Dorven was exposed and the ministry of health and welfare closed down the hospital.

As for Giselle, Ezra had given her two off work, which she highly appreciated. But the brunette himself was extremely busy, which left Giselle with no time to see him.
