Marco’s POV

As they rode, Marco turned to Arin, his voice low but filled with urgency. "Arin, keep a close eye on the terrain. We're counting on your knowledge to guide us safely through these rocky paths."

Arin nodded, her gaze focused on the ground ahead. "Don't worry, Marco. I know every twist and turn in this area."

Sage, riding alongside Marco, chimed in. "And remember, once we get to the higher ground, we need to find positions that offer good cover. We don't want to give our presence away prematurely."

As they ascended the rocky slope, the sounds of battle grew louder. The clash of swords and the shouts of warriors echoed through the air. They were getting closer to Thane and Swiftclaw's forces.

Arin's hand raised, signaling a halt. She pointed towards a cluster of large boulders that provided ample cover. "This is a good spot to assess the situation," she whispered. "We should be able to see Thane's position from here."
