Chapter Sixty Nine

Marco’s POV

My eyes sparkled with a glimmer of amusement, as though I had anticipated this question. "Ah, my young friend, names hold power and significance," I replied cryptically. "You shall know my name when the time is right. For now, you may continue to call me 'elder,' as you have done."

My curiosity piqued even further, but I sensed that the elder's name held a greater purpose, one that was meant to be revealed at the appropriate moment. I nodded, a mixture of acceptance and intrigue settling within me.

"I understand," I said, a small smile forming on my lips. "Thank you, elder. Until tomorrow, then."

"Until tomorrow, Marco," she replied, her voice gentle and reassuring. "Rest well and let the wisdom of the gods guide your dreams."
