"Did you understand what I said?" Carol asked me.
I nodded my head to what Carol has been chanting about Elena.
She continued, "You should back away if she rejects you. You shouldn't force her into liking you. Understood?"

Chuck interrupted, "Don't break his hopes already! He didn't even say he likes her yet. Let's wait and see how Elena reacts after Nick confess her and then we'll see what to do about that."
Carol said back to him, "I'm just stating the facts here."
