Werewolves

Silas stayed quiet until Tabitha was no longer in the mood of tears. They stared at their reflection in the river for a while before sitting on the grass by the river bank.

Silas took a few seconds to prepare himself for the explanation but he started by telling Tabitha that she was beautiful.

“I know it's normal to cry but you are just so beautiful and when you cry, I hate to see how you grimace,” he said to her with his eyes away.

When Silas didn't receive a response from Tabitha, he looked her way to see her glancing at him.

“I also don't want to see you angry and frustrated like that. You scared me and I couldn't recognize the handsome Silas I see every day,” Tabitha responded, making Silas's lips widen with a smile.

His smile made Tabitha smile too, causing them to keep staring at themselves for a while.
