Chapter Fifty three

Maya looked at her reflection the mirror and smiled at how sweet she looked. She was wearing a long strapless pink dress which had a slit that stopped mid-thigh. She kept a natural simple makeup with just some nude lip gloss and mascara. Her hair was tied into a neat ponytail with her silver earrings dangling beautifully. She wore a pair of black heels and matched with a black purse.

She walked to downstairs where Damian was supposed to be waiting for her according to his last text, but, to her surprise the place was empty. She looked around but there was no sign of him.

"I have the prettiest wife, you know?" She heard someone whisper behind her and she quickly recognized the voice. She smiled and blushed deeply as she turned to face him.

"And I have the most handsome husband," Maya smiled.

Without wasting anymore time, Damian stretched out his arm which Maya gladly took and they both walked out of the house. Damian was wearing a black dinner suit, a bow tie, and a white evening s
