Chapter Thirty Nine:

At this point Damian was confused. He didn't know what to believe or who to believe. It's been three days now and he hasn't come to a definite conclusion.His grandfather said the man was lying and that someone else had hired him to do it. He was only framing Maddie because the person must've payed him. The man, Viper, also swears Maddie was behind it. Damian didn't know what to do. He hasn't even told his wife about it yet and it was eating him up.

Maya snuggled closer to him breaking his chain of thoughts. He looked down at her sleeping figure and let out a sigh as he placed his chin on her head.

"Damian?" Maya mumbled sleepily.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked, raising her head to look at him."You look stressed. It's as if something is bothering you," she added.
