#Chapter 59 – Snooping

Gavin’s POV

A woman of fire.

That was what the teenager had referred to the woman in the red cloak.

“She emerged from the fire?” Gavin asked to clarify.

The young girl nodded almost gravely; a dark haze fell over her vision as the memory surfaced in her mind.

“Yes… it was like the fire was dancing around her body. Not actually touching her, but also not avoiding her either. It was being created for her… or maybe by her,” the girl said thoughtfully. But then she disappeared, and the fire stayed…”

She shivered at the thought.

Gavin nodded, understanding.

“You’ve been very helpful,” Gavin said to her with gratitude. “What is your name?”

“Amelia,” she answered with a small smile.

“It’s nice to meet you, Amelia,” Gavin said, bowing his head slightly at her.

“You as well, Alpha.”

The game had ended over an hour ago and we’ve been doing nothing but watching TV for the following few hours.
