#Chapter 60 – You can’t keep me prisoner!

Erin’s POV

My heart was pounding quickly against my chest; I couldn’t tell if it was because I was caught snooping through Gavin’s office or because I was so furious with him. But the accusatory way he was looking at me made my blood boil.

“What am I doing?” I asked, stepping around his desk with the Moonshadow list in my hands. “What are you doing, Gavin?”

His eyes traced my face for a moment before landing on the paper I held.

“I can’t be too safe.”

“You think I’m a member of the Moonshadow?” I asked disbelief in my tone.

However, considering I was a member, it wasn’t too odd for him to think that.

“You have abilities, Erin. Both you and Henry do. It can’t be a coincidence.”

“You could have just talked to me about it but you’ve been investigating me instead,” I hissed, fury boiling through me.
