Chapter 25

Eventhough it wasn't really bright, Lachlan Williams perceived that she might have been abused.

"Who did this to you?"

"Did what?" She asked. Trying to sound as though nothing is wrong.

Lachlan opened the door wide open and walked in, then he found the switch with his hands and turned on the light in the house. That way, he was able to see her clearly.

He was stunned to see the injuries both across her face and across the opened part of her body. It was worse than that if a few weeks ago when her father beat her.

This time, her mouth were literally swollen and her body were full of wide marks. His fist clenched secretly.

"Who did this to your?" He asked again with a dangerous look.

"Don't worry about it, I'll be fine." She said, while walking in pain to the small couch in the living room.

He went towards her.

"Please...sit." she said. Her eyes had become swollen as a result of the tears.

"Is it your father?" He asked, refusing to sit.

"Don't worry about it." She repeated.
