I stared at him after he had made that suggestion, how I felt at the moment was definitely not how I thought I would ever have to react when he told me about going back to the human world.

Back then, I had always made sure to bother him about taking me back to my world, where I belonged but then now that the offer had being brought before me, I didn’t seem to like it. What was wrong with me? Why didn’t I want to go back to the place I had being pleading to be returned to the whole time?

Why did I feel so indifferent about returning there? That was my world, it was where I had grown up. It had many of my good and bad memories. It had many of the things that made me smile and cry but then I didn’t feel like going back.
