Chapter 146

"Amanda?" He called out as he slowly wrapped his hands around her. "What’s wrong?" He asked her as she continued to cry.

"Tristan!" She called again as she continued to cry even more. He sighed as he put his hands around her.

"Come with me; you need to rest." He told her as he led her to the room she shared with Jason.

He placed her on the bed while she continued to cry, and he quickly poured out a glass of water for her. "Here you go, Amanda. What’s wrong with you?" He asked her.

She sighed, raising her head to him with tears in her eyes, and he could see that her eyes had already gotten swollen due to the tears in them. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words left them as all she continued to do was cry. She gasped as she turned away from Tristan, who was trying to be of help to her.

"I can’t believe this; I really can't. I just can’t believe this." She said this in tears as she buried her face in the pillow on the bed, crying even more as she yelled at the top of her lungs.
