"Almost killed me? How?" She asked me, and I swallowed as I cupped her face in my hands.

For years, I had kept the truth as to why I was so ruthless buried away, but now it was high time I spoke up. It was high time Amanda knew the truth about the man she loved. She was the one I wanted to start my whole life with and die with, so if we were going to do that, I had to tell her everything, not leaving any out.

I took a huge inhale, and just as I was about to speak, she asked. "Are you sure you want to explain, Jason? If it’ll cause you too much pain, I’d rather you..." I smiled as I interrupted her, giving her a slight kiss on the lips.

"You want to start life afresh with me, don’t you?" I asked her, and she nodded.

"You know that’s what I want more than anything in life." She told me, and I smirked.

I knew that; I just wanted to hear it from her, and hearing it from her gave me the courage to remember those heartbreaking moments from years ago. "It’s fine, Amanda." I told her as I clo
