He direly needed to know what happened to his mate, and I decided to lay it out to him. Not actually because I was scared of him, but because I felt that he had a right to know.

“She killed herself”, I started explaining while I watched how more tears poured out of the alpha’s eyes.

I didn’t feel any bit of emotions, because as long as I was concerned, she was dead already and no one could do anything about it.

“She went to war and was about winning when a mistake was made by one of her women. The woman died and she went over to avenge her death, even if she was injured. This was a trap set my the opposition group, because almost immediately, they were surrounded by them and taken captive. She kept bleeding and losing strength and from what I heard she was wolfless at that point”, I explained calmly.
