Chapter fifty six

JASON’s POV

I ran up to meet up with her and just as I had expected, she was in fury and great distraught.

My heart dropped and for a minute, I thought of apologizing, even if I knew that I didn’t owe her an explanation for whatever I did.

Despite how hard I tried to curtail the urge to apologize, I found myself asking her to forgive me since I didn’t mean it the way she thought.

I tried to touch her too, to make her see how serious and sincere I was with the apology. But then, she flinched at my touch and warned me never to touch her again.

That broke my heart to pieces, but I was eager to make her see my reasons.

And then, that was when she made an utterance that made cold shills run down my spine.

“You are heartless and cold, wicked and cruel!” She had said to me without any restraints.

I was taken aback as I gazed at her in shock, hoping that she would take back her words.

However, when she kept spewing such words, it dawned on me that she was really serious about it.
