I slumped down beside Myra and pulled her into a warm embrace, she leaned against me and continued sobbing. "Hey, what's wrong Myra?" I asked softly. She continued to cry for a while before collecting herself and sitting up.

"I'm so confused Zora, I don't know what to do," She lamented in between sobs. I brushed her hair softly and spoke in a hushed whisper, "let's go inside and I'll fetch you a glass of water and you can tell me all about it okay?" She nodded and I led her inside.

I ushered her to her sofa then walked into the kitchen and filled a glass cup with water before returning and handing it to her. "Here you go," I said softly she took it with both hands and I sat down beside her.
