It's Sunday. Finally, I'm going on a date with my boyfriend. I did my morning routine hurriedly. I hope everything goes well. I took a shower and started finding something to wear for my date. What should I wear? I don't know where we are going. I should take help from Emily.
“Emily.” “Yes.” She says in her sleepy voice. “Can you help me? I don't know what I should wear for my date?” I say. “I think you should wear lingerie.” She suggests. “Yeah.” I nod and then furrow my brows. “Wait! What!” I ask as if I hear something wrong. She starts laughing at me. “Yeah. Go and wear lingerie. It will be easier for him to fuck you then.” She says and laughs. I blink my eyes in disbelief and my cheeks flush in embarrassment. “Shut up. We are not going to do that.” I glance away briefly. “Oh c'mon. Everyone knows what happens between couples. Don't be a fool. Everyone does that.” She stands beside me. I bite my lower lip in stress. “Everyone does!” I ask in surprise, glancing at her. She hums in response. Shit! How will I match my gaze with him then? Well, yeah these things happen between couples. It's not a big deal. I should not be shy. But I never did that. Save me Jesus! “Go and wear lingerie.” I glare at her. “Shut up Emily. He promised me that he'll wait.” I exclaim. “Or will he not?” I murmur, my voice barely audible as I sit down on my bed hopelessly. Emily sits beside me as she continues, “Maybe he will not. It has been more than six months of your relationship. He must be wanting to have sex with you now. What if he throws you on the bed and….” My eyes pop out from its socket. “Shut up Emily. Don't scare me.” I shout at her. She starts laughing at me. How can she say something like that? Seriously! “Look at your face. You are just a kid.” She giggles. My teeth ground together in frustration. “Shut up.” All of a sudden my phone starts ringing. I run to take my phone as my life depends on it and pick up the call smiling widely when I see Aiden's FaceTime. “Hello!” I say happily. “Belle!” He says in a low voice. I knit my brows. He's looking upset. Why? “What happened? Are you okay?” I ask. “I bumped into an accident.” He states. My mouth drops open wide. “What! How? When? Where are you now?” Tears wells up into my eyes. “I am in the hospital. I have a fracture in my leg. Don't worry. Everything is fine. Doctor said there's nothing to worry about. I just need a complete bed rest for a few weeks.” He says and flips his camera to his foot. I look at his foot hopelessly. Plaster casts wrap all the way around the foot. “I'm truly sorry. It was our date but…” He says. Tears rolled down my cheeks. I'm not upset because my date has been ruined. I'm upset because I can't see him in trouble. It would be so painful for him. “It's okay. It's not your fault. Take care of yourself.” I struggled to utter as I choked with emotions. “I'm sorry.” He says again. I wipe my tears. “It's okay Aiden. We will go some other day.” I say, trying to reassure him. He hums in response and nods his head. “Take medicine and rest. Okay and I'll come there to meet you soon.” I declare. He grins widely. “Belle….I love you.” He says as his eyes glimmer with the love he feels for me. “I love you too.” I shut my eyes as my throat is blocked because of my stuck tears now. I don't have energy to hide my emotions anymore now. I should hang up the call. I don't want him to see me crying. He's already in pain. “I will talk to you later. Bye.” I hang up the call. Emily puts her hand on my shoulder. I glance at her and hug her tightly as tears start shedding from my eyes. “Don't worry Belle. He'll be fine soon.” She starts patting my back. “Aiden needs me. I should go and meet him.” She nods. “You're right. Do you want me to go with you?” I shake my head. “I'll manage.” “Okay.” She nods. I take my bag and my phone and walk outside of the room. Without wasting much time, I take a cab and reach the hospital to see Aiden. As I enter, I ask the receptionist about Aiden. “Is there any patient named Aiden Allen?” She nods. “Yes, He's on the second floor. Room no. 27.” I grin and nod. “Thank you so much.” I ran towards the elevator. I hope Aiden is fine. I am not going to leave him today. As soon as I entered the elevator, I pressed the button to reach the second floor and I reached the top. As I enter the room where Aiden is, I see a nurse is injecting an injection in his arm. He widens his eyes and flashes a wide grin seeing me there. “Belle! You are here. For me.” I take fast steps towards him, gritting my teeth and slap his cheek hard. Taken aback by my action, his mouth drops open. Nurse looks at me in amazement. “I told you not to drive fast. Why don't you listen to me? WHY?” I shout and tears start shedding from my eyes. He glances at the nurse and flashes a grin. “Actually, she's my girlfriend. She's worried about me.” The nurse nods and walks outside leaving us alone as I sit beside Aiden. “I am not worried about you. I hate you. You never listen to me. Did I not tell you to drive your bike at average speed?” He purses his lips. “Actually….. Forgive me please. I'll not do that again.” I am staring at him in a steady gaze. I grit my teeth and squint my eyes. He always says the same thing that he'll not do this ever again but everytime he does the same thing. I'm tired of his demeanor now. “If you don't alter your bad habits, I'll leave you Aiden. I've warned you before and I'm warning you again.” I glare at him. He gazes down and nods. “Did you eat something?” He glances up into my eyes slowly and nods his head in a quick response. “Why are you silent now?” “You are scaring me. I know some of my habits are bad but I don't do things willingly. I know you are hurt but…..” My gaze goes over his lips and I literally don't know what he's saying now. My attention is just over my boyfriend's soft pink lips. How would they taste? He doesn't know how frightening that second was when he told me about his accident. I hate him. Why is he so careless? I don't want to lose you again, Aiden. I just can't. As I couldn't hold the urge to taste my boyfriend's lips, I cup his face, I lean on him, shutting my eyes close. “What is happening here?” Before I could kiss him, we hear a man's voice and I turn my face to see. It's a young man in his early twenties, wearing a tuxedo and his face is similar to Aiden. Is he Aiden's brother? “Why are you here?” Aiden shouts. I stand up, gazing at my feet. “I got a call from the police. You don't leave a single opportunity to mortify me and dad. You don't have any respect but we do. At least don't deframe our prestige.” I glance at Aiden. He clenches his fists as he shouts, “Get out.” “Stop showing me attitude Aiden. Who's this girl? A new way to entertain yourself!” Aiden grits his teeth. I swallow hard, gawking at the vision in front of my eyes. That man glances at me as he utters, “Get out from here. I don't want any outsider to hear our talk.” I nod, gazing down and take a step forward to go but Aiden grasps my wrist tightly. I turn my face back to him. He shakes his head. “She won't go anywhere. She's my girlfriend, not any outsider.” I let out a sigh as Aiden's words reassured me and glanced up at his brother who's staring at Aiden in anger. I think the relationship between them is not good. “Get out now. I don't want you to show any fake care.” Aiden shouts at him. His brother clenches fists tightly and glances at me. “Stay away from him. I am warning you.” His brother says and walks outside, leaving us alone. I turn my face to Aiden as the only thing that matters for me is if he's okay or not. “Are you okay?” I put my hand on his shoulder. He glances up into my eyes and embraces my waist in a tight hug. “Don't leave me Belle. Please just don't,” he mutters. “I won't, I promise.”I start caressing his hair and nod my head. I don't know what has written in our fortune but I know one thing that is Aiden loves me and I love him too and that's enough for me. That's enough for us. I won't let anyone ravage our beautiful relationship.“Belle, wake up. Look what's here.” Emily's hoarse voice wakes me up from my deep slumber. Sitting up in my bed, crossing my legs I stretch my arms and stifle a yawn. “What happened?” I ask, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. She approaches me, a big bouquet of delicate red rose flowers, adorning her arms. “It was laying down outside of our room,” she informs. “For Belle: it is written on this bouquet.” She renders me that bouquet. My eyes gawk at the flowers carefully. I am a little surprised to hear this. No one has sent me flowers before today. Many guys proposed to me till date but no one ever sent flowers. Who did it today? Is it Aiden? “It must be Aiden.” I flash a wide grin to Emily. “We couldn't go on a date. Maybe that's why he sent these flowers to console me. I should call him.” “Okay,” she says and begins to roll her blanket. I pick up my phone; my mind reeling with Aiden's thoughts as I dial his number. He's such a great boyfriend. Never leaves a chance to make me
Aiden wants me to throw this bouquet but I don't want to. Ethan sent these flowers with feelings and throwing this bouquet, crushing these flowers means crushing his feelings. I know there's nothing between us—no chance at all. But his feelings, just by thinking about hurting his feelings, hurts me. Mom always said if a person gives you a gift then you should always keep that—no matter what that gift is: jewelry, money, expensive, non expensive. Gifts are a person's emotions. How can I throw this bouquet? “Why does Aiden have no emotions?” I murmur. I stand up from the bed, grasping the bouquet. As I walk outside of the campus, I look for someone to give this bouquet. It would be better to give this bouquet to another person rather than throwing it away. My eyes search for a person, and it lands over an old lady, walking on the sidewalk. I take big steps towards her and offer her that bouquet. She furrows her brows. “This is for you. You are beautiful,” I say. Her eyes sparkle as
I sigh as I press Aiden's apartment’s bell. The apartment is located in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Manhattan. Aiden must be getting bored; he can't go anywhere because of his fracture, so I thought of surprising him by showing up here. After envisioning me, he'll be dazzled, and delighted also.My face lits up as he opens the door. “Belle, what are you doing here?” His jaw drops, his face stunned. My boyfriend, my Aiden—looking handsome as always in his Gucci leather jacket.“I missed you.” I close the gap between us and embrace him in a tight hug, my head resting on his chest; he's 6 feet tall—maybe his height was the thing I fell for.“I missed you too,” he says.I pull back, glancing down at his fracture. “Is it better now?” I stare back into his eyes. He nods his head. “It is.” “Let's go inside,” I say and we both enter his apartment. My eyes dart as I witness the sunset view of the Manhattan skyline through the glass walls of his drawing room. I never dreamt
Laying my phone down, I sit on my bed and uncap the bottle of Chanel Le Vernis in ‘Rouge Noir,’ the rich, deep color is my favorite shade. With steady hands, I begin to apply the polish on my long, slender fingers. Just then, my phone starts buzzing. Who's calling now? Without glancing at the phone screen, I picked up the call. “Belle, what are you doing babe?” Aiden's voice comes from the other side. I press the phone between my ear and my shoulder as I continue applying nail polish. “I'm busy,” I say.“Busy? Doing what?” he asks.“Applying nail polish.”“Nail polish. Seriously! Is nail polish more important than me?” he exclaims.“Yes. And by the way we've broken up. Did you forget that?”“You broke up. I didn't. You aren't allowed to break up with me until I want that.” he utters. “And when will you want that?” I ask.“Never,” he retorts.
"You have a natural talent," the photographer praises. His words reassure me, his compliment gives me more confidence. "I think you have a bright future.” I flash a wide grin. “Thank you so much,” I say. At first I felt nervous but as the session progressed, I found my confidence growing more and more. I gave an audition, walked the runaway with elegance, like a diva.“We'll be in touch,” the casting director says, rendering me his business card; I make my way out of the modeling company. After a very tiring day, I reached my boyfriend's apartment. Now only spending time with him can freshen up my mood and energize me. “Hi!” I greet him as I enter his apartment, but he doesn't respond to me. Sitting on his couch, he continues playing his video game, his face cold and rude; the glow of his massive flat- screen TV illuminating his focused face. His fingers move deftly over the controller, his eyes never leaving the screen. Sometimes I feel jealous of his fondness for video games. He
“Belle, let's kiss now.” Aiden cups my face and leans to me. I push him slightly away from me. “I'm feeling under the weather. Sorry,” I say, standing up from the couch. Tears brimming into my eyes; I glance away briefly and walk outside of his apartment, my mind swirling with anxiety and frustration of my parents' fight. All the fights I've witnessed of my parents, reeling in my mind like a movie. What bad had I done in my past life that I was born as their child? I wish I would have died the day I was born. Walking hopelessly in the corridor of the dorm, I bump into someone all of a sudden and fall above that person, letting a gasp come out from my mouth. My breasts press on the hard chest of that person. I glance up swiftly to see him. It's Ethan. His long, dark brown hair falls in waves around his face, brushing his cheekbones. My eyes meet his dark brown eyes; his gaze is often intense and penetrating, as if he can see right through my soul. Lost in his eyes, tears fall
After waking up in the morning and getting ready for class, when I and Emily reach the school corridor, we see that there is a notice pasted there on the board. “What is this?” I knit my brows and turn my face to Emily.“This must be a section notice. Our new academic year has started, so our sections must have changed now,” she retorts.Letting a gasp come out, I nod my head. That means now I'm no longer in the same section as Emily.“Let's see,” I say.As I walk near the notice board, my eyes start searching for my name in the list. I grin as I find my name. “Emily, I'm in section C,” I shout as I try to find her in the crowd. “And I'm in section A.” She approaches me. I knew that we were going to part.“Okay, meet you at lunchtime.” I bid her goodbye and ran towards my class. I'm already late. I hope the teacher will not punish me on the
Fury consumes my whole body, as I get to know about Aiden and Ethan's friendship. My eyes land on Ethan as soon as he enters the cafeteria—his eyes meet mine. Every person present there gathers him, and starts asking void questions.“Ethan, how did you manage to impress her? Tell us the secret.” My jaw tightens as their voices pass through my ears. Ethan smirks witnessing my rage. He must be enjoying all the attention he's getting because of me. Controlling my wrath, I roll my eyes and sit down on my seat with Emily. As we begin to eat, students gather around us. “Belle, when did you both start dating?” a girl asks out of the blue.Tightening my grip on the spoon, I glare into her eyes. “He's not my boyfriend,” I say. “Oh, come on. Everyone heard what Ethan said a few minutes ago. Don't lie now,” she says. “He's lying,” I shoot a quick response; her brows furrow as she asks, “Why would he lie?”Because he wants to see my boyfriend, whom I'm hiding from everyone. “I don't care what
