Author's pov

Ashton felt his blood boil, as he waited for Grace to show up. Five minutes had passed since the meeting had started, and she was nowhere to be seen. He sighed from frustration, tapping his feet impatiently against the wooden floor. His eyes traveled to Mr. Steve who was sitting opposite to him on the long rectangular table. Not being able to control his anger anymore, he called for Stella.

"Where is Grace?" he questioned her in his hard tone as soon as she entered the hall. Not wanting to anger him anymore, she decided to reply.

"I didn't really see her anywhere in the office today Mr. Knight." She said while looking down at the ground. Ashton, irritated with the whole situation, ran his fingers through his hair. Sighing furiously, he got up from his seat and made his way to the glass wall behind him, that gave him a clear view of the city. Trying to calm himself, he closed his eyes momentarily before opening them back again. But that didn't help him either. In f
