Chapter 68

The next morning, I had the displeasure of the sun’s rays shining straight into my eyes. My eyes burned from lack of sleep. That stupid book kept me up. There was so much new information in there that I was hooked. Basic things that I never even thought about. I only had about a quarter left.

Jet was stirring beside me. In an attempt to not wake him, I decided to go ahead and get in the shower. It wasn’t until I was standing in front of the door that I got a whiff of fresh air with a hint of something fruity. Maybe mangos? Pineapples? My hand hovered over the doorknob as I kept trying to identify what I was smelling.

Maybe it was dragon fruit? Opening the bathroom door, I stood facing what looked like a jungle. Closing my eyes and blinking, I had to make sure that I was actually seeing this. Turning back around, Jet was still in bed, drooling out of the side of his mouth. When I turned back around, the jungle was still there.

Sticking my head in, I was shocked at how much it seem
