Chapter 79

“I told you he was in a coma.” The doctor sighed as we walked into the room. My eyes went straight to the man that was laying in front of me. He looked normal. There was obvious scaring and damage done, but overall, he looked good.

His hair was a literal bird’s nest as it hadn’t been brushed in who knows how long. What wasn’t stuck together was longer than his shoulders. The only way to fix this was to shave it all off. His fingers didn’t have any fingernails on them. Red open sores lined his finger tips where I assumed the nail fell off at. Bruising covered his skin in shades of yellow and green.

“The transformation forced his bones to shrink back to where they should be. That caused a lot of bruising.” The doctor said as he watched me look him over.

“Do you know why he was the only one to survive? All the others have died, and he has lived.”

“The antidote I gave him had an extra vitamin K component to it. There was the one that we didn’t give anything to. I gave him the same
