Chapter 22

This is it. This is the day we will change. I’m beyond excited. I want to meet my wolf. I’ve been waiting for this day for almost 16 years. When I learned what were I couldn’t wait to change. I wanted to do it right then and there but mom told me I had to wait. After a few years I still yearned to change but dealt with it since I knew at some point I would eventually.

Robbie and Alec walked us out to the clearing we are to use for our shift. It’s small and covered but still big enough for us to be under the moon fully. It’s around 8 pm and the sun is almost down. We get to the clearing and wish the guys could stay with us but we promised to meet them at the edge of the forest so they could see us when it was done. They gave us hugs and encouragement then turned and walked off leaving us to each other.

“I’m so nervous. I don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous in my life.” Louise said as she was pacing across the small clearing.
