Author's povIt was almost noon and Srilekha & Sanjay were watching TV. Sanjay was half laying on the bed while Srilekha was resting her head on his chest. His fingers were entangled with hers. " I wish our daughter was with us," Srilekha whispered but Sanjay couldn't say anything because he has nothing to say. Their conversation was interrupted when someone rang the doorbell. Srilekha went to open the door since Sanjay can't move with his wheelchair. Two minutes passed but Srilekha didn't return so Sanjay thought to check. With great difficulty, he sat down in the wheelchair and moved towards the main door. " Who is here, Srilekha?" Sanjay asked but no one responded. Reaching the main door Sanjay found two young men standing at the door. Between them, one was looking a little bit injured. Hey, Orni. You don't have to be afraid. He isn't here anymore," Niyati assured Orni who was hiding in the washroom with her children. Orni didn't answer. She just kept hiding like a scared bunny holding her children. After gaining her senses back she was just scared and nervous about everything. The fear VR has installed inside her is still there. Niyati again insisted," Orni, please come out. See, Neela is here to meet you. She wants to play with Roman and Roman. How about we go shopping? It will be fun."" Aunty, come out. I want to play with Roman and Rion," Neela said with her baby voice and that's when Orni decided to come out. With trembling hands, Orni held the doorknob and twisted it. With nervous eyes, she peeped outside and noticed that Niyati wasn't lying. Taking a few relaxed breaths she came out of the washroom. Orni is now sitting on the bed and looking at her lap silently. Her hair is messy, her face is dull, the body is shaking slightly due to nervousness and fear.

Author's povSanjay asked making Orni paralyzed for a few moments," Do you want to meet your ma(mother)?"" Ma is here?" Orni questioned back shockingly. Before Sanjay could say anything further Srilekha's voice reached Orni's ear," Orni, my daughter."Orni looked behind Sanjay and found a middle-aged woman standing there with teary eyes. Orni looked carefully at the woman and even forgot to breathe for a few seconds. The woman was looking so similar to her. The same eyes, same lips, same nose.........it didn't take a lot of effort for Orni to understand that this woman is her mother. She was overjoyed to see her mother for the first time. " Ma," Orni let out with an inaudible voice. Srilekha ran towards Orni and then pulled her into a tight hug. Hugging her back, Orni burst into hysterical sobbing. Author's pov" Just looking at her face I knew that I have some connection with her," Satya said looking at Sanjay and Srilekha. Sanjay answered politely," Your son saved Orni and I will be grateful for that always."" Though I told you earlier that I won't have any rights over her, I can't stop myself from feeling affectionate towards her. After all, she is my daughter," Satya said having an affectionate smile for Orni. This time Srilekha said," She doesn't know it and I don't want her to know it also. Author's pov" Ma, Papa told me that you used to be a dance teacher," Orni asked Srilekha. It was nighttime and Orni was laying on the bed resting her head in her mother's lap. Srilekha was messaging Orni's head gently. After getting her mother back, Orni developed a habit of sleeping on her mother's lap. She was behaving like a lovesick child. Why won't she? After all, she was deprived of her mother's love all the years. A smile formed at the corner of Srilekha's lips. Taking a deep breath she looked outside. " Yes. I won a lot of prizes for my talent. Author's povOrni stirred in her sleep feeling sun rays all over her eyes. Feeling something soft under her, she realised that she was laying on a soft & comfy bed. Her eyes got shot open when she remembered Roman & Rion. Opening her eyes she looked at her surroundings and of course, it was an unfamiliar room. Looking outside through the window she only saw a vast ocean in front of her. It didn't take a long time for her to realize that this place is an island. She remembered how VR kidnapped her & her sons. She was angry with VR but she was hurt beyond the level understanding that it was Shivansh who handed her to VR so that he can save Niyati. She can't believe he chose Niyati over her. Doesn't he call her his sister? Then, how can he hand his sister to a monster like VR?
