Liam’s POV

Leaning back I take a big breath. What time is it? Oh crap it’s after 7pm. Wait, where’s Emma? I have been in and out of meetings all day with Danny and various other warriors, trying to figure out what we do or don’t have regarding intelligence.

I walk back toward the house when Grace comes rushing over, “we can’t find Emma”. I immediately race toward the swing out back. She isn’t there. Dammit. I stop, turning inward when Kalen steps forward. “I smell her scent Liam but not close”. I let him guide us, using his senses. When suddenly, she comes walking out from the woods. Alone.

“Emma, what on earth are you doing out here?”. She looks scared, “I am so sorry. I lost track of time. I was talking with Morgan and well, we…”. I wrap my arms around her. “It’s ok, just please mindlink me when you are going somewhere”. She probably thought I was supremely clingy when in reality, we don’t know how rogues are capturing pack members. Wandering off in dark woods,
