“Let go of her now!!!” I yelled at him, but he wouldn’t listen. He kept dragging her, muffling her cries with the hand he placed over her mouth.

He was almost at the dark part of the alleyway, pulling her along. She shuffled and scratched on the cemented floors but couldn’t get away from his strong grip. I couldn’t move either. I was pinned to the floor by an unknown force. I tried moving my foot but it wouldn’t budge. I tried the other, same outcome.

The man with the sinister smirk was almost disappearing into the shadows, while the agonizing cries of the little girl were getting weaker. It pained me. If I had a saw, I would have chopped my foot off and crawled to the little girl. He was going to harm her but helpless me couldn’t do anything to stop it. Just then, the man looked up at me with a bigger smirk. His eyes shone in the darkness as he pulled out an even brighter object from his pocket, raising it above his head.
