NIXON’S POV

“That’s the Lycan King? What is he doing working in a library?”

I showed Matt where to find Davon. He also noticed his closeness to Mia. Their smiles and glances could tell they were into each other.

We watched from afar, seeing Davon and Mia enter the library. They were holding each other’s hands.

“How did it happen? How did Mia get two mates?” Matt was confused as I was.

“I remember Davon said Mia was the reincarnation of her mate before he disappeared right in front of us. I have a feeling that he doesn’t live in our world.”

“What does that mean?”

“If what Rendel and Ecko see is true, he may be trapped somewhere because of a curse and now freed.”

“I don’t know about that, Nixon, but I’m telling you, Uncle Faustus won’t like it. He had enough problems in his hand right now. This one would certainly put him over the edge.”
